Yes! ABHI is a registered and designated private career college under Alberta's Advanced Education.

Eligible students may apply for government student funding through:

• Saskatchewan Student Aid (for Saskatchewan residents)
• Manitoba Student Aid (for Manitoba residents)

Yes! ABHI proudly welcomes international students.

At this time, ABHI does not offer transfer credits toward any of our programs.

ABHI's Hybrid Learning model combines the flexibility of live online learning with scheduled in-person classes, giving students the best of both worlds.

Students benefit from:

• Live online classes led by experienced instructors
• Scheduled in-person sessions for hands-on learning, practical activities, and assessments
• Access to course materials through our online learning platform
• The flexibility to balance education with work and personal commitments while gaining real-world skills

For programs that include a practicum component, ABHI will arrange one practicum placement through our network of industry partners.

Here's how the process works:

• ABHI will work to secure one practicum placement that is as close to your home as reasonably possible, subject to partner availability.
• Our Academic Coordinator will communicate with the practicum site and designated preceptor to coordinate the placement and ensure it meets the program requirements.
• Once the placement is approved, a practicum agreement will be completed and signed by all required parties before the practicum begins.
• Students will receive their practicum schedule, site information, and any site-specific requirements before their practicum start date.

Please note: If a student declines the practicum placement arranged by ABHI, the student will be responsible for finding an alternative practicum placement. Any student-arranged placement must meet ABHI's program requirements and receive approval from the Academic Coordinator before it can be accepted.

The enrollment process typically takes approximately 2 hours, depending on the applicant's admission requirements. This includes the admissions interview, document review, aptitude testing (if applicable), student funding assistance (if requested), and completion of all enrollment documents.

The enrollment process is as follows:

1. Initial Interview – Meet with one of our Admissions Officers to discuss your career goals, program options, admission requirements, tuition, and available funding.
2. Pay the Admission Fee – Submit the non-refundable $50 admission fee.
   
3. Submit Required Documents – Provide all required admission documents based on your admission category.
   
4. Schedule Your Enrollment Appointment – Once your documents have been reviewed, an enrollment appointment will be arranged.
   
5. Complete Your Enrollment Appointment, which may include:

• Academic Achievement Test (for Mature Student applicants, if applicable)
• Review and signing of enrollment documents
• Student funding application assistance (if required)
• Program orientation and explanation of school policies

Once all admission requirements have been satisfied, your enrollment will be finalized, and you will receive your program start date along with your orientation information.
