PRE ARRIVAL INFORMATION

Are you ready for your new journey?

Make sure to keep the following documents in a separate folder. 

  1. Original passport with counterfoil
  2. Letter of Acceptance or Deferral Letter if needed
  3. Travel itinerary
  4. Travel insurance
  5. Funds to use while traveling (travelers cheques/ cash/ master card)

Prepare yourself for the new WEATHER:

Alberta is famous for its rapidly changing weather. During winter, it is always a good idea to wear clothes in layers and keep at least 1 warm thick jacket with you before travelling to Alberta. You can feel the warm wind and enjoy the rainy season in Alberta from May to September and cold winter from November to January.  Since you are residing in Alberta, it is important to update yourself with the weather conditions. ARRIVING IN CANADA

Upon arrival in Alberta, international students will be welcomed and picked up by the Student Coordinator, provided that arrival details have been arranged in advance. Students are advised to confirm their arrival information directly with the Student Coordinator to ensure proper coordination.

After pickup, students will be taken to their pre-arranged accommodation and will receive instructions to attend the New Student Orientation prior to the commencement of classes.
